The figure shows photoemission spectra of the Ru 3d levels from a Ru(001) crystal obtained at the Berlin synchrotron radiation source BESSY. The spectra were measured simultaneously with a 150' hemispherical electron analyzer where the exit slit was replaced by a channel electron multiplier array KBLA210-5.
